Connect an AI assistant (MCP)
Quorum runs a remote Model Context Protocol server at:
https://api.quorumcal.com/mcpIt speaks Streamable HTTP and signs you in with OAuth 2.1 (dynamic client registration and PKCE), so you approve the access once in your browser and never paste a secret. The assistant acts as you, limited to the scopes you approve and to your role, and an org admin can require approval or limit which apps connect.
Claude
Section titled “Claude”Claude on the web or desktop. Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. Name it Quorum and use the URL above. Choose Connect, sign in to Quorum and approve the scopes.
Claude Code.
claude mcp add --transport http quorum https://api.quorumcal.com/mcpThen run /mcp in a session and choose Authenticate.
ChatGPT
Section titled “ChatGPT”Settings → Connectors → Advanced → turn on Developer mode, then Create a connector with the MCP server URL above and authentication set to OAuth. (The menu names move around between plans; look for “custom connector” or “developer mode”.)
Cursor
Section titled “Cursor”Add the server to ~/.cursor/mcp.json (or a project’s .cursor/mcp.json):
{ "mcpServers": { "quorum": { "url": "https://api.quorumcal.com/mcp" } }}Cursor opens a browser to sign you in the first time the server is used.
Clients without OAuth
Section titled “Clients without OAuth”Send a personal token as a bearer header instead:
{ "mcpServers": { "quorum": { "url": "https://api.quorumcal.com/mcp", "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer qrm_pat_..." } } }}Which tools you get
Section titled “Which tools you get”Every operation is a tool, grouped into toolsets (core, links, bookings, polls, series, availability, contacts, admin). A session starts with core, which is who you are and a read-only look at your links, bookings and polls. Add the rest in one of two ways:
- Ask for them in the URL:
https://api.quorumcal.com/mcp?toolsets=links,pollsor?toolsets=all. - Let the assistant ask:
list_toolsets,enable_toolset(returns that toolset’s tools and schemas) andcall_tool(runs any tool by name) are always there.
Your scopes always filter what is offered; a tool you lack the scope for fails with insufficient_scope, and the assistant can tell you why. Tools that return a signing secret (webhook creation and secret rotation) are not on MCP; use the dashboard or the CLI. See the tool list.
For agents that read instructions, there is also a Skill.
